1.) The church is collecting gifts for the Raphael House, a shelter and services for women and children fleeing domestic violence. Gifts must be at the church by Sunday, December 6th. For a list of needed items, you can go to www.target.com and see their baby registry by entering: First Name: “Raphael” Last Name: “House” or you can get a list from the Raphael House web page: http://raphaelhouse.com/donation/donation-drives/

2) NE Food Project donations: this month we are focusing on collecting rice, a simple, nutritious staple that the pantry frequently runs out of because of demand. Other non-perishable food items are needed too. Soups, baby foods, canned vegetables and fruits, cereals, dry beans, etc. will help feed your neighbors. The donation barrel is in the fellowship hall. Saturday, December 5th is Boy Scout Troop #71 Scouting for Food Day….they may show up at your door!

3) Winter Sock Drive We are collecting socks of all shapes and sizes for men, women and children this winter. The box is located in the Jarrett street entryway, and you can always drop a package through the mail slot by the Cleveland side door.  If you don’t think it’s important to have a pair of dry socks on, try wearing wet cold ones all day!
